SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT- AUDIT |
Schools are and must be, ever changing. The best schools are those which plan their changes, so they develop with a planned approach.
What is the Process?
The audit team comes into the school, holds pre-scheduled discussions with the Principal, and some staff, visits classrooms, reviews school systems and infrastructure. It reviews the documents and information provided by the school. Classrooms are visited for the purpose of understanding academic systems i.e. no individual teachers are referred to or reported on.
How long does it take?
The audit takes place over five working days. At the end of the process, a written report is presented. This is submitted to the school within three working weeks.
What is the end result ?
Learn Today creates a detailed written report and also makes a presentation to the management on audit findings. Following the audit, we can create a school improvement plan where we recommend the best ways of bringing about changes, and advise about the order in which those changes should be implemented. If the school wishes we provide our expertise in the upgradation of facilities and resources, training and curriculum development. Audit Team
The audit team structure is determined by the audit areas agreed upon. For a whole-school audit, the team usually constitutes four to six members, including the team leader. At least one has experience in school management (Principal/Vice-Principal).

Post-audit feedback comments: |

I have now carefully gone through your report. It is indeed
remarkable and your recommendations will greatly help us achieving
our vision. Thank you for the good work.
Board Member, Scindia School Gwalior

The entire process of the audit helped me in assessing the under
utilized areas in the infrastructure & curriculum e.g. Art,
Dance, Music & Physical fitness. I found the audit team very
approachable & the functioning did not restrict our work in any
manner. The feedback given in your report has helped me considerably
in planning my policies, day-to-day strategies & the direction
in which the school must move. It was a very useful & positive
exercise from my point of view.
